He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his children, Jennifer Gray (Earl) and Patrick McLeod (Shelley); his grandchildren, Thomas, Kasey and Claire; his parents, Leroy McLeod and Dorothy McLeod; his siblings, Chet McLeod (Mary), Mary Jo Brown (Larry) and Jeff McLeod (Leslie); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Medwid (Gary), MaryLee Hannan and Margie Lamb (Dan). He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
