He was predeceased by: his sibling Anuica Radu; and his parents, Todor Radu and Aurora Radu. He is survived by: his wife Ana; his children, Nikola (Anujka), Ana Mezin (Trifu) and Aurora Brenka (Mojse); his grandchildren, Dennis Mezin (Leontina), Teddy Mezin (Aurora), Nicole Yakob (Louie), Michael Brenka (Krista), Jonathon Brenka (Konstancja) and Nikolas Brenka; his great grandchildren, Liliana, Natalie, Daniel, Sophia, Christopher, Selena and Jaxon; his sibling Todor; his nephew Viorel Radu; and his niece Marioara Grbav.
