Paul Stanley Westergaard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Stanley Westergaard (Sterling Heights, Michigan), born in Warren, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina Irene Westergaard and Christian Westergaard; his siblings, James Westergaard, Beverly Campbell (Robert), Charles Westergaard (Marjorie), Gerald Westergaard (Shoni), Joyce Diegel and George Westergaard (Margaret); and his brother-in-law David Proefke.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Westergaard; his children, Kellie Gregarek (Bruce), Jamie Westergaard and Shawn Westergaard (Pam); his grandchildren, Cassandra Smigiel (Steve Smith), Brendan DeRouin, Paige Westergaard and Cole Westergaard; his sister Lorayne Proefke; and his brother-in-law William Diegel.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home (30009 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A rosary was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 7:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Blase Catholic Church (12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Shriner's Hospital, in Paul's memory.
