She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leonard "Len" Cwiertniewicz; her children, Dan Eklund (Laura Hendrick) and Marybeth Simpson (Marc); her grandchildren, Krystal Johnston (Brant), Katryna Sandlin, Natasha Eklund (Josh Parker), Amity Eklund, Rebecca Bourlier, Ariel Schuette (Phil) and Alyson Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Christopher St. Germain, Alana Johnston and Stephen Snyder.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests planting a tree in Olga's memory or making a donation to Forgotten Harvest, a cause close to her heart.
