He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; his son Dwain; and his parents, Mike Stobak and Rose Stobak. He is survived by: his children, Darrell, Kim (late Steve) and Michael (Lori); and his grandsons, Michael (Janey), Matthew and Scott. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
