He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy; his children, Joseph (late Joan), Patrick (Jennifer) and Kay Jarred; his grandchildren, David Hilber (Kristina), Renee Milinovich (Scott), Amy Hilber (Lloyd Mandelbaum), Jaclyn McGowen (Alex) and Melissa Jarred; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Alexa, Laine, Leon, James, Aaron, Hayden, Walker and Ellen; his siblings, John (late Antoinette) and Rosemarie; and his nephew Paul.

A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Kieran Church (53600 Mound Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48316). A Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
