He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his son Michael Gerber; his parents, Rosina Gerber and Adam Gerber Sr.; and his siblings, Adam Gerber Jr., Johann, Rosina, Friedrich, Katharina, Magdalena, Josef and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Napolitano (Anthony), Kevin Gerber (Lisa) and Brian Gerber (Melissa); his daughter-in-law Debbie Gerber; and his grandchildren, Amanda Napolitano, April Napolitano, Cameron Gerber, Joseph Gerber, Ethan Gerber, Ella Gerber, Mackenzie Chapman, Brooke Chapman, Adam Oxford and James Oxford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in his honor.
