We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Michael George Nahas (Sterling Heights, Michigan). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nahas and Kathleen Nahas; and his nephew Adam Abraham. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Jacob, Noella Abraham, Jesse Bruce, Nicholas Cottrell, Natalie Cottrell and Nina Caruso (Aaron); his significant other Julie Sigda; his sisters, Jeanne Sigda and Linda Mammel (Tim); and also, Michele Nahas, Denise Cottrell (Mike) and Bronislaw Sigda. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and four beloved great nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). The lying in state will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Thecla Catholic Church (20740 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made toward a memorial bench on a golf course—an enduring tribute to Michael's love of the game and the outdoors. Donations to the Special Olympics or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are also appreciated in his memory.
