It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D. Gillette of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Christopher McMillan; his stepsons, Steven Kapo and Daniel Kapo; and his sisters, Mary McNamara and Debbie Alfred.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his grandson Steven Kapo; and his sister Donna Goss.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
