With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Ruth Mestdagh of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Ruth left this world on October 23, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William "Bill"; her sons, William "Bill" (Cathy), David (Deborah) and Jim (Kristine); her grandchildren, Billy (Lauren), Lindsey Oliver (Mike), Courtney, Andrew (Molly), Michael (Tori), Christine and J. T.; her great grandchildren, Brooks, Jameson, Madison and Charlotte; her brother Bill Casey (Paula); her sibling-in-law Jean Pollack-Casey; and her nephews, Michael Casey (Amy) and Kevin Casey (Paula Anne).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the J. T. Mestdagh Foundation are appreciated.

“Dear Mestdagh Family. Ruthie was my girlfriend for 83 years; I will miss her dearly. She was so proud of her husband, sons and all of her family. My husband, Gene knew Ruthie and Bill since our college days. A long, longtime friendship that we both cherish. I am so grateful to the Mestdagh's to allow me two hours with her on Sunday.
