Though Marinko may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marinko touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Stanka; his children, Regina Boyd (Rick) and Michael Trajkov (Kristen); his grandchildren, Ava, Blake, Abigail and Amanda Docherty (Michael); and his siblings, Dusan (Velika), Nada (Ljupco), Rosa (Tome) and Mile (Lida). He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The lying in state was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral (43123 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
