We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Mara Prel Martini of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mara Prel had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mara Prel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Ndoc; and her siblings, Deda and Lena. She is survived by: her children, Martin (Mare), Tom and Nikolin (Olsa); and her grandchildren, Ilir, Drita, Lindon, Austin and Olnita.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons (54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48316). The lying in state was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Albanian Catholic Church (525 W Auburn Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
