He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Corneil and Nellie Corneil; his wife Glenda Corneil (Jones); and his son-in-law Joseph Ganley. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Lajoie (Keith), David Corneil (Tara), Tracy Ganley-Fouracre (Scott) and Christopher Corneil; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Corneil (Linda) and Patti Corneil (Dan LaMontagne). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
