He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Wanda; his children, John "Denny" Mayes (Diane), Sharon McLaughlin (Tim) and Bonnie Cole; his grandchildren, Jennifer Wesner (Matt), Justin Mayes (Kristel), Jesse Mayes (Bethany) and Kevin McLaughlin; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Noah, Matthew, Brody, Miles and Lucy. He was also cherished by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
