He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Evanne; his children, Gregory Shanahan (Nancy), Erin DeAngelis (Carmen), Lisa Shanahan-Kleino (Thomas Kleino), Bradley Shanahan (Kimberly) and Denzel McCoy (Melanie); his grandchildren, Brendan Shanahan (Brittany), Caitlin Rose (Curtis), Cameron Kleino, Kelsey DeAngelis, Vanessa Kleino, Kailey Shanahan, Kiera Shanahan and Ronin McCoy; and his great grandchildren, Emery, Brie, Eisley and Ayla.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (95 Market St, Mt Clemens, MI 48043). A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to The American Tinnitus Association.
