She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Zbigniew Rakowiecki; her children, Jan, Kathy and Annette; her grandchildren, Aleksander, Emmali, Dominik and Filip; and her sister Danuta. She was also cherished by mother and grandmother—she was the rock of her family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc. - Sterling Heights (3801 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church (3100 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
