With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Shubeck of Sterling Heights, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Bodnar and Helen Bodnar (Elona Slota); and her brothers, Peter, Leo and Nicholas.
She is survived by: her husband Paul; her sons, Paul (Rosemary), Mark, David (Jennifer) and Daniel; and her grandchildren, Michelle Hollis (Robin), Kimberly Szlachcic (Robert), Deborah Nobani (Andrew), Madeline, Thomas, Paul, Michael and Luke.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.
