With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Charlotte Abraham of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 101. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Helen Charlotte had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Helen Charlotte may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Lawrence and Charlotte Lawrence; her husband Julius Abraham (J. T.); her siblings, Delphine, Stanley Lawrence (Helen), Albin Lawrence (Mary) and Anthony Lawrence (Rosemarie); and her niece Charlene Lawrence.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A rosary was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313).
In lieu of flowers, she has requested that donations be made in her name to the C.S. Motts Children's Hospital at U of M, Ann Arbor (https://www.mottchildren.org).
