It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriett Smith of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Harriett departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Harriett. Though Harriett may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lloyd Ford and Dale Tawney Ford; her husband Robert Smith; her son Dave; and her siblings, Joyce and Keith.
She is survived by: her children, John, Marybeth Thompson and Dale Strozeski (Gary). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lee-Ellena Funeral Home (46530 Romeo Plank Rd, Macomb, MI 48044).
