He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynda; his daughters, Traci Zajkowski (John) and Jodi Joseph (William); his grandchildren, Ariana, Brendan, Joey (Jocie) and Jacob; his siblings, Dean Fleury, John, Tom and Wendy; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Zalewski (late Larry), Michael Landsiedel (Cathy), Mark Landsiedel (Sue) and Renee Lowe (Michael).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48316). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (54045 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48315-1403). A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (54045 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48315-1403).
