With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Demetrius John Meffer Jr. of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 25. He was predeceased by: his grandfather William Meffer; his uncle David Meffer; and his cousin William Meffer III. He is survived by: his mother Angela Schutte; his son Demetrius III; his sister Bianca Francisco; his father Demetrius Meffer; his girlfriend Laura Pettibone; his grandparents, Dennis Schutte, Linda Adkisson (late Jack) and Patricia Meffer; his aunts and uncles, Carrie Shelton (Jay), Elizabeth Mahaffey (Matt Smith), Dennis Schutte, Jr. (Sherri), William Meffer, Jr. and Jake Meffer; and his cousins, Austin Mahaffey, Amanda Meffer, Michael Meffer, Lauryn Bielawski, Haley Bielawski, Jacee Shelton, Daisie Shelton, Joshua Schutte, Samantha Schutte and Dominic Pace.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
