We bid farewell to Dari Linda Smith of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 66. Dari Linda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dari Linda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Smith; her children, Sasha Oza (Jeff Himelson) and Eva Bode (Mike); and her pet Gigi.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the White Chapel Memorial Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098).
In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Michigan Cat Rescue.
