He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Meli and Palma Meli; and his sister Frances Stogniew. He is survived by: his sister Rosaria Meli; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maria Sweet (Allen Farenger), Matthew Kukulski (Melissa), Danielle Kukulski (Jacob Deel) and Sienna Sweet; and also, Brantley, Sylas, Suraya, Stella and Ava.
