Anna L. Elya Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna L. Elya of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William; her son Douglas; and her siblings, Henry Daniel (Diane), Alice Graham and Buster Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, David (Annette), Theresa Cilluffo (Joe), John (Rosanne), Richard (Geoff Kidson) and Jennifer Hathaway (Robert); her grandchildren, Matthew (Heather), Phillip (Lydia), Paul (Jocelyn), Kevin (Carys), Dane, Rebecca, Benjamin and Renee; her great grandchildren, Leanne, Paul Jr., Audrey and Beau; and her sister Mary Fox (late Joseph).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons (54880 Van Dyke, Shelby Township, MI 48316). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
