He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Petty and Edna Petty; his son Alan Petty (Rosanna); and his siblings, Louise Faulkner (DB), Betty Fox (Robert) and Bobby Petty (Trudy).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Petty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
