He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Menke and Faye Menke (Schaal); his stepfather Phillip Dahlberg; his wife Susan Sharon; and his brother Allyn.
He is survived by: his son Ryan Menke (Stacy) of Green Bay, WI; his granddaughters, Olivia Javenkoski (Brandon), Alexandra Menke, Brianna Menke and Madelyn Menke; his brothers, Scot Menke (Ruth) of Stephenson, MI and Charles "Todd" Menke of Stephenson, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Sharon of Manitowoc, WI and Robert Sharon of Wakefield, MI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Verne's name.
