He is survived by: his wife Maria Gawel of Stephenson; and his children, Monica Carollo (Steve) of Long Grove, Ill, Martha Haight (Jon) of Stephenson, Renatha Denning (Thomas) of Grand Rapids, Roman Gawel of Oconowoc, Wis and Christopher Gawel of Detroit, Mich.. He is also survived by 12 grand children, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
