He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thoune and Isabelle Thoune (Tickler); his wife Toots; his son Jim; his son-in-law Richard Strahl; and his siblings, Sarah Rivard, Laverne Klatt, Hubert, Milton, Francis, Roy and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Strahl, Dorothy Thoune (Dwight), John Thoune (Janice) and Frank Thoune; his brother Raymond Thoune (Sandra); and his sisters-in-law, Irene Thoune and Jane Thoune. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
