As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Voss and Harietta Voss (Smith); and his siblings, Jack and Nora. He is survived by: his wife Janet Esbrook of Stephenson, MI; his children, Jamie Voss (Bonnie) of Kalamazoo, MI and Tracy Voss of Stephenson, MI; his grandchildren, Calvin (Sarah Shilts) and Emily Voss; and his sister Johanna.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church (S214 Willow St, Stephenson, MI 49887).
