He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gardiner and Lucille Gardiner (Swanson); his siblings, Nancy Francour and John Gardiner; and his sister-in-law Helen Harder (Royal).
He is survived by: his wife Norma Arkens; his children, Karen Gardiner (Jesse Betters) and Kerry Gardiner; his grandchildren, Courtney Topper (Brandon Pruitt), Kari Betters and Michael Topper (Kayla Kehoe); his great grandchild Aspen Topper; his grandson Trent Betters; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Arkens (Nancy), Dale Arkens (Dorothy), Marvin Arkens and Pat Francour (Kathy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home (S218 US Hwy 41, Stephenson, MI 49887). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
