She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Gilbert and Violet Gilbert (Eddy); her husband John J. DeLuca; and her daughter Amy. She is survived by: her children, Bob Ike (Kathy) of Ann Arbor, Jolene DeLuca of Grand Rapids, Diane DeLuca of Lansing and John DeLuca (Karen) of Clearwater, FL; her grandson Ian; and her brother Larry Gilbert of Pt.

In lieu of memorial contributions, Marlene always said to "take yourself on a trip and see the world".
