She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Spike" Rankin; her stepdaughter Renae Gavitt (Sam); her granddaughter Rowan Gavitt; her siblings, Fredrick Gerke, Celeste Gerke, Catherine Fessenden and Ann Gerke (Tom); and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Gerke, Stephen Gerke (Sarah), Jessica Westra, Nathan Malmyga, Simon Fessenden and Alex Levy (Marcela).
