He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Hoisington and Mabel Hoisington (Rorick); his wife Marguerite Spedoski; his brother Max Hoisington; and his daughter-in-law Kathleen Hoisington.
He is survived by: his children, Jack (Julie) of Morley, Jim (Denise) of Stanwood, Dave of Stanwood, Diane Dukes (Randy) of Big Rapids, Bob of Stanwood, Dick (Lisa) of Weidman, Annette Hoisington of Mecosta and Bill (Julie) of Stanwood; and his cousin Lon Rorick (Micaela). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
