He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Benson and Maude Benson; and his wife Paula Ryan. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Lou Neal, Wayne Benson, Sven Benson, Jolene Jones (Donny), Stosh Benson, Amanda Ansari, Wayland Benson, Wyatt Benson and Conway Benson. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home (13985 Northland Dr, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
