Carmelo Palumbo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelo Palumbo of Stanwood, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Palumbo and Josephine Palumbo; his sister Irene D'Angelo; his brothers-in-law, Pete D'Angelo and David Chiesa; and his nephew Nick.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Palumbo; his children, Janice Palumbo (Edie), Maureen Marra (Todd), Chris Palumbo (Sara), Deana Andrews (Phil), Heather Custer (Terry) and Jake Erickson (Niccole); his grandchildren, Shelby, Courtney, Anthony, Colin, Ava, Jaden, Julian, Isabella, Jared, Madison, Paris, Aubrey, Case and Tenni; his great grandchild Elie; and his sisters, Frances Chiesa and JoAnn Tersigni (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Northland Global Methodist Church (6842 Northland Dr, Stanwood, MI 49346). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
