It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Brenner of Stanwood, Michigan, born in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon F. Brenner and Emma M. Brenner (Tice); and his siblings, Edward Brenner, Nelly Gooch, Anita Pool and Clarence Brenner.
He is survived by: his wife Penny of Stanwood; his children, Bernard "Nardy" Brenner (Nicole) of Sammamish, WA, Robert Brenner of Suttons Bay, Philip Brenner (Nate) of Boston, Shallen Beatty of Grand Rapids and Courtney DePew (Donald) of Reed City; and his grandchildren, Emily, Paige, Lauren Grace, Greyson and Ty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Bernie's name may be made to the Big Rapids First United Methodist Church or Corewell Hospice.
