He was predeceased by: his parents, Nihl Cross and Lillian Cross (Gyger); his sisters, Doris Cannon and Noreen Abbey; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Cannon, Mick Abbey, Duane Smith and Preston Jensen.

He is survived by: his wife Altona Cross of Stanton; his children, David Cross (Janet) of Stanton and Lori DeForest (Steve) of Blanchard; his grandsons, Brian Cross (Nicole) and Derek Cross (Ashleigh); and his sister Sheila Smith. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
