He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bennett and Nadawis Bennett (Sooy); his wife Ardeth Bennett; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Helen Thompson; his granddaughter Jill Christensen; his sons-in-law, Bill Arnold and James McCracken; his siblings, Vicki Cooper and David Bennett; and his siblings-in-law, Abe Richards, Jerry Thompson, Gary Rasmussen, Geraldine Richards, Chris Nicholson, Judy Taylor, Vonda Rasmussen and Ruth Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia McCracken (John Driscoll) of Sparta, Penny Christensen of Stanton, Pam Arnold (John Rhines) of Greenville and Shelly Fountain (Ed) of Mecosta; his brother Barry Bennett (Chris) of Vestaburg; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Cooper of Houghton Lake, Jim Taylor (Toni Morgenstern) of Blanchard, Nick Nicholson of Fenwick, Donna Bennett of Montana and Louise Drain of Lakeview. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
