He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Wilson and Bea Wilson (Timmons); and his sister Elma Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughter Janet Wilson of Wyoming, Michigan; and his nieces and nephews, Terry Ryan (Linda), Linda Whitney (Jeff), Don Ryan (Jill) and Doug Ryan (MaryJane).
