It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Walter Hansen of Stanton, Michigan, born in Trufant, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Hansen and Hilma Hansen (Nielsen); his wife Mary Joan Alles; his grandparent Day; his son Bradly; his daughter-in-law Jalaine Hansen; his grandson Michael Hansen; his children, Julie Black of Stanton, Eric Hansen (Nicki) of Stanton, Jane Nelson (Dave) of Greenville and Renee Kohn (Nicholas) of Belding; his grandchildren, Jason Black, Janelle Ferguson, Jacob Black (Tara), Matthew Hansen, Erin Stratton (Scott), Jill Jamison (Mike), Andy Nelson (Jessica), Katelyn Bailey (Joe), Megan DeVree and Christopher Kohn (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Black, Jackson, Jamison Ferguson, Carter, Crew Black, Isaiah Dimit, Dartagnan Dimit, Peyten Hansen, Braxton Geister, Colson, Chloe Hansen, Lain Jamison, Jett Jamison, Mac Stratton, Sydni, Blake Nelson, Tucker, Bryce, Lexi Bailey, Calvin and Adalynn DeVree. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan.
