He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughter Kimberly Matz (Myron) of Boyne Falls; his granddaughters, Emily Lanning (Kyle) of Boyne Falls and Samantha Matz of Boyne Falls; his sisters, Claribel Petersen (Vernon) of Stanton, Marie Dunlap (Duane) of Grand Haven and Carolyn Larson of Nebraska; and his aunt Bette Swartz of Greenville.
