It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Allen Jenks of Stanton, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jenks and Gertrude Jenks (Beardslee); his wife Velma Jenks (Newcomb); his sons-in-law, Bob Sawdy and Ken Benedict; and his siblings, Stanley Jenks, Sarah Piper, Gaylord Jenks, Helen Miller and Barbara McGregor.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Sawdy of Stanton, Glenda Benedict (Clair Whitmore) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Steve Jenks (Pam) of Hudsonville and Marion Truesdale (Butch) of Celina, Ohio; his grandson Scott Sawdy (Jamie) of Big Rapids; his children, Kathy Otteson (Jeff) of Grand Rapids, Brian Sawdy of Stanton, Robert Sawdy, Jr. of Stanton, Sue Bresnahan of Sand Lake, Carla Spanbauer of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Nathan Carnes (Kathy) of Coldwater, Ohio, Jermey Jenks (Beckie) of Zeeland, Tabatha Bratu of Grandville, Michelle Brancaleone (Steve) of Celina, Ohio, Herbie Truesdale (Mika) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mike Truesdale (Dani) of California and Robin Truesdale of Lima, Ohio; and his sister Carol Scott (Ken) of Hudsonville.
