He was predeceased by: his parents, Judd Somers and Meroe Somers (Lusby); his wife Dorothea A. Gillett; his stepmother Zola Somers; his mother-in-law Natalie Dewey; his daughter-in-law Martha Somers; and his sister Elaine Lewandowski (Ed).
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly McClelland (James) of Stanton, MI and Kevin Somers (Tracy) of Elsie, MI; his granddaughters, Janelle McClelland, Mallory McClelland and Addison Somers; his stepgrandsons, Braydon and Jacob Schaub; and his sister Lorna Semans (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
