Timothy W. Hagley Obituary
Timothy William Hagley, 67, of Standish, Michigan, passed away with his loving wife by his side on December 18, 2024.
Tim was born on May 7, 1957, to Louis and Virginia Hagley in Standish. After Tim completed school, he began his life farming with his dad.
In 1985, Tim married the love of his life, Diana Lynn Watz, on March 15th. Tim and Diana welcomed two children Courtney and Jake. Tim's life revolved around the farm and his family. When Tim wasn't farming, he enjoyed outdoor sports, searching for treasures, and spending time with his family especially making sauerkraut. Farming was his passion; he served as a member of the Arenac County Soil Conservation District where he was honored for his many years of service and dedication. He had a passion for politics, was a member of the Arenac Count y Board of Commissioners where he served as the Chairman and as a Commissioner. Along with following his father's footsteps farming, he also followed as Arenac Township Supervisor.
Tim, "Afro", is survived by his wife Diana, children Courtney (Richie) Rolfe and Jacob Hagley, grandchildren Delia, Charlotte, and Edward Rolfe, siblings Doug Hagley, Deb (Greg) Groat, Mike (Susan) Hagley, Julie Marie, Joe Watz, Gina (George) Castle, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Louis Hagley and Virginia (Moore) Hagley, father-in-law Richard Watz, mother-in-law Donna Watz, and sister-in-law Winnie Watz.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, at 3:00pm at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel with Yvette Chisholm presiding. Family will greet friends and family from 11:00am until time of service. Following the service, there will be a dinner at The Resurrection of The Lord Parish in their Social Hall.
