He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Schmidt and Joy Schmidt (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Schmidt of Standish, MI; his sons, Joshua Schmidt, Hannah Schmidt of Ithaca, MI, Kyle Schmidt and Courtney Schmidt of Riverview, FL; his granddaughters, Marley, Harper Schmidt and Baby Girl Schmidt; his siblings, Nancy Mardon, Larry Mardon of Standish, MI, Peggy Anderson, Tony Anderson of Standish, MI and Doug Schmidt of Standish, MI; his parent-in-law Ivan Arnold of Riverview, FL; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Arnold of Riverview, FL, Jon Arnold and Karen Arnold of Riverview, FL.; his nieces and nephews, Keith Schmidt, Adam Schmidt, Ryan Schmidt, Samantha Schmidt, Jason Anderson, Cody Raquepaw, Alex Arnold, Jackie Anderson, Lauren Arnold, Jillian Arnold, Heather Loper and Bradley Loper; and also, Kathy Schmidt of Standish, MI and Agnes Arnold of Riverview, FL. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
