She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Hewer and Elsie Hewer (Sprague); her husband Paul Varney; her son-in-law John "Jack" Amick; and her siblings, Donna Thidie (Norm), Milton Hewer (Carolyn) and Pat Hewer.
She is survived by: her children, Jerri Amick and Milton McCabe; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven, Patrick, John Paul Amick, Ashley, Brandon, Dana, Desiree, Milton, Christian and Bradley McCabe; her brother Norman Hewer (Lynn); and her sister-in-law Barb Hewer. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
