He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Valley and Marie Valley (Raymond); his son Jim; and his siblings, Roger, Gary and Yvonne.

He is survived by: his wife Betty (Looker); and his sons, Rick (April) and Jonathan (Kayla).
