He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Mae Leinonen; and his sons, Larry Leinonen and Timothy Leinonen. He is survived by: his children, Gary Leinonen (Cathy), Vickie Leinonen-Cook (Randy) and Regina Cooney (William). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
