She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kosemba and Angeline Kosemba; her husband Joseph Kaplenski Jr.; her siblings, Olga Francis (Kosemba) and Nester Kosemba; and her children, Roxann Woloszyk (Kaplenski) and David Kaplenski.
She is survived by: her son Nicholas Kaplenski (Gail). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
