She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jake DuFort and Nancy Fisher; her nephew Tim DuFort; and also, Earl Petty and Jewell Petty.
She is survived by: her spouse Rusty Petty; her children, Chad of Standish, Heather Murphy (James) of Bay City and Dustin of East Lansing; her grandsons, Brandon of Bay City and Evan of Bay City; her brothers, Robert of Ossineke and Ned (Carol) of Standish; her sisters-in-law, Mary DuFort of Essexville, Earlene Foster (Larry) of Sterling, Phyllis Tremble (John) of Standish, Bonnie Krystyniak of St. Helen and Melanie Petty of Standish; and her friends, Mary Kay Mielke and Shirley Kraska. She is also survived by aunt, the job she relished most was that mother.
